Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praises four Liverpool stars
According to The Liverpool Echo, Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has lavished paise on four Liverpool players ahead of the match against the Merseysiders at Old Trafford this weekend.
The Red Devils take on their arch-nemesis in front of a buoyant home crowd still reeling from their incredible comeback against Atalanta. A win will see United right back in the title race while also handing their rivals a direct blow.
Jurgen Klopp’s side is however unbeaten this season and getting one over them will not be easy. Solskajer is well aware of it and is wary of the threat that the Reds possess.
He goes on to admit that the Liverpool attack is something that he has a soft spot for. Klopp’s Reds attack on their day can blitz through anyone and remain a potent threat to this day.
I’m a big admirer of the front line they’ve had for many years now
Solskjaer was extremely complimentary of Mohamed Salah who continues to score goals for fun. The Egyptian is arguably the club’s top player and a big threat for us on the night.
“Salah is at the moment on fire. You see some of the goals he’s scored lately, we know we have to be at our best to defend against him.”
The trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have all started the season well. Even Diogo Jota has seen himself among the goals and stepped up when called on.
Liverpool will not make life easier for us on Sunday and we will need to be ready for any eventuality. It promises to be an excellent game between two sides who are packed with talent.
