A good pre-season hasn't translated to a good campaign.

Some Manchester United fans have had enough of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager after Leicester City thrashing

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could only look on helpless from the sidelines as Manchester United saw their impressive 29 matches unbeaten streak in away games comes to a close at Leicester City.

Mason Greenwood gave the Red Devils the lead on the night and there was hope that normal service had resumed. However, Youri Tielemans equalized for the home side before Caglar Soyuncu gave them the lead in the second half.

The returning Marcus Rashford drew the visitors level in the 82nd minute amidst hopes of another late comeback. Unfortunately, Solskjaer appears to have run out of luck as it was Leicester who went on to make the difference.

The Foxes were ahead within a minute of Rashford’s equaliser thanks to an excellent finish by Jamie Vardy. Summer signing Patson Daka made the result clear in the first minute of stoppage time.

It was a rather sobering performance by United that lacked the necessary verve. Alarmingly Solskaje too was unable to bring about a change from the sidelines.

With Liverpool up next in the Premier League, the Norwegian has to step up big time. A run of similar results could end our season even before it has fully taken off.
