Manchester United star Anthony Martial on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur & Arsenal
According to journalist Ekrem Konur (h/t 101 Great Goals), Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are set to go toe-to-toe with each other for securing the services of Manchester United ace Anthony Martial in January.
The Red Devils, who currently possess the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Jesse Lingard, Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood, Edinson Cavani, and Marcus Rashford as their frontline options, have found it hard to provide regular game-time for Martial.
However, the Frenchman has not done any favours for himself through his performances this season. Although he has only started 2 games so far, he has made a number of substitute appearances but has not managed to provide any goal contribution yet.
The Frenchman’s most recent outing was against West Ham in the EFL Cup in mid-week, and he did not give any reason for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to select him week-in and week-out.
The Old Trafford outfit are also said to be open to the idea of letting him go in January itself. The Red Devils are said to be valuing him at around £40million, and they also have viable suitors now, according to Eurosport (h/t Daily Star).
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both said to be interested in signing the 25-year-old striker in January, according to journalist Ekrem Konur (h/t 101 Great Goals).

Given that Spurs failed in their efforts to sign Lautaro Martinez this summer and the fact that Arsenal are looking to offload Alexandre Lacazette, a move for a forward by both clubs is understandable.
However, it remains to be seen whether the Manchester-based club would be interested in letting one of their strikers join a direct rival. With January just 3 months away, only time will tell whether Martial leaves the club this season.
