Manchester United ace Donny van de Beek is on the radar of Inter Milan
According to Calciomercato (h/t ESPN), Inter Milan are weighing up a move for Manchester United ace Donny van de Beek in January.
The 24-year-old joined the Red Devils in a move worth £35million at the start of last season, but things have not quite worked out the way the Dutchman would have wanted them to. Although the midfielder made 36 appearances across all competitions last summer, most of them were off the bench while only 19 of them were in the Premier League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who possess the likes of Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay, Fred, and Nemanja Matic in his ranks at the Manchester-based club, has not managed to provide the Dutch international with a string of games.
The former Ajax man was also touted for a move to Everton this summer on deadline day but it was eventually blocked by United’s Norwegian boss as he wanted the midfielder at the club this season.
While Solskjaer’s intentions may have been in good faith, Van de Beek is yet to make a Premier League start this season as he has also only featured in a single league game for the club – an off-the-bench cameo against Newcastle United.
Although he did start the Champions League game in midweek against Young Boys, he was hooked at half-time after United went down to 10 men, thanks to an Aaron wan-Bissaka red card.

Thus, it has not been the best start for Van de Beek this season, and Inter Milan are now weighing up a move for the midfielder. The Serie A club are apparently ready to make a move for the 24-year-old in January itself, according to Calciomercato (h/t ESPN).
While the San Siro club might make an offer, it remains to be seen whether United sanction a move for the midfielder in the winter transfer window.
