Real Madrid latest to join Manchester United in Dani Olmo transfer race

Transfer News: Manchester United face Real Madrid comeptition for RB Leipzig attacker Dani Olmo

According to transfer news from Transfermarketweb (h/t Sports Mole), Manchester United face strong competition from La Liga giants Real Madrid to sign RB Leipzig star, Dani Olmo.

The 23-year-old has been gaining a lot of attention. The Catalan giants wanted to bring the former La Masia academy product back to Camp Nou. Both parties were said to be keenly interested but Leipzig rejected the deal on transfer deadline day. Their Spanish rivals Real Madrid have now thrown their ring into the hat.

The Spanish international is under contract with the German side till 2024. Dani Olmo has made 63 appearances for RB Leipzig in all competitions ever since he made the move from Dinamo Zagreb. The German outfit could have a great battle on their hands to keep hold of the young attacker.

Barcelona and Manchester United are already in the fray to sign Dani Olmo. Real Madrid is the latest competition on the list of potential suitors. Los Blancos view the 23-year-old as a great option to bolster their attack.

It is being claimed that Leipzig are demanding a €70million fee for their attacker. Olmo brings a lot of versatility to the attack. He can play as a midfielder, winger, or wide forward. In his previous season with the German club the attacker scored 7 goals and provided 12 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions.
