Manchester United star Paul Pogba has set his eyes on a move to Real Madrid
According to Okdiario (h/t Tribal Football), Paul Pogba is ready to leave Manchester United on a free transfer next summer and sign for Real Madrid.
The 28-year-old has entered into the final year of his contract this season and will be allowed to talk to foreign clubs in January over a potential move next summer. Pogba could also go as far as agreeing a pre-contract with any interested suitors outside England in the winter transfer window itself.
Thus, United could have less than four months to sort out the Frenchman’s future at Old Trafford. However, it looks like Pogba has already made his decision.
The midfielder does not want to open contract talks with the Red Devils, while he has also gone as far as telling his agent, Mino Raiola, to not consider any contract extension offers from the Manchester-based club. Pogba wants to weigh up his options and ‘hear’ from Real Madrid before he agrees any deal with the Old Trafford outfit.
The World Cup winner could have left the club this summer itself as Paris Saint-Germain were strongly interested in making a move for the midfielder. However, there were several obstacles in the deal.
There was no agreement on valuation between the French outfit and the English club while PSG also prioritized the signing of Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi. However, the French club are still said to be interested in signing the 28-year-old on a free transfer next year.

Given that the United man has started this season in fine form with 5 assists in 3 games, it would be a blow to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer if he does end up leaving the club next year. However, the Frenchman is ‘determined’ to let his contract expire as he plots a move to the Spanish capital.
