Anthony Elanga could leave Manchester United before the end of the month
According to transfer news from Manchester Evening News (h/t Tribal Football), Manchester United could lose the services of Anthony Elanga before the end of the month as the player has attracted interest from several clubs.
The 19-year-old scored on the last day of the season against Wolverhampton Wanderers and caught the eye of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has since let the player train with the first team.
Elanga was training with the first team during the club’s pre-season training camp earlier this summer while he also featured in three games out of a possible four during the process. The Sweden Youth international also went on to score against newly-promoted Brentford and Championship club Queens Park Rangers.
A threat in the forward role, the Old Trafford outfit were planning on keeping the 19-year-old at the club beyond the summer to provide substantial depth in the frontline.
While that was the case until last week, the Red Devils secured the signing of club legend Cristiano Ronaldo, who has the capacity and fitness to start all the games for the Manchester-based club.
Moreover, United already possess the likes of Daniel James, Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford, Edinson Cavani, Mason Greenwood, and Anthony Martial, while they also added Jadon Sancho to this squad.

Thus, it does not look like the 19-year-old might get considerable game-time at Old Trafford this season. The Swede is said to have garnered interest from over half the Championship clubs already, while one club has also made a provisional loan offer for the player’s services, according to Manchester Evening News (h/t Tribal Football).
Although United are yet to respond to that offer, it could bode well for Elanga to go to a Championship club and rack up some considerable minutes under his belt so that he can return back to the club with more experience next season.
