Manchester United could loan out Amad Diallo before the end of the month
According to an interview done by Solskjaer on Sunday via TMW (h/t Tribal Football), Amad Diallo might not remain at Manchester United beyond the month.
The 19-year-old joined the club from Atalanta for a whopping £37.2million transfer fee in January earlier this year. United soon reaped the rewards of the Ivorian after he scored a vital goal in the club’s 1st leg tie of the Round of 16 of the Europa League against AC Milan.
Diallo managed 8 senior appearances in all competitions for the Old Trafford outfit last season. The 19-year-old, however, could not manage to feature for the club during their entire pre-season as he was away on international duty at the Olympic Games in Tokyo along with teammate Eric Bailly.
Since then, there has been a lot of talk about the 19-year-old’s future at the club, especially after Jadon Sancho signed for the Red Devils. The Englishman could now become a starter on the right-wing, and with Daniel James also available, it could put Diallo down the pecking order.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer addressed the player’s situation after their game on Sunday, where he said, via TMW (h/t Tribal Football):
“I am a fan of Amad, he is a great player. If we find a right destination for him we will probably let him leave, otherwise, he will join the team very soon.”

Thus, should a club come for the Ivorian, United seem open to the prospect of letting him leave on loan. Sheffield United have been interested in securing the player’s services while Amad’s former club Atalanta are also ready to bring the player back.
While Diallo wants to play at a Premier League club, Atalanta are ready to offer him Champions League football. It is uncertain where the Ivorian will end up by the end of the month.
