Manchester United News: Luke Shaw and Solskjaer nominated for Premier League awards
According to news from the club’s official site, Manchester United duo Luke Shaw and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have been nominated for Premier League awards. Luke Shaw has been nominated for March Player of the Month award while Solskjaer is in the manager’s category.
It has been a good month for the duo as United managed to repair some of the damage from February. United won two of their three league games and drew the other one. The Manchester derby was a significant win for us and it ensured bragging rights.
Shaw has been a revelation this season and one can point to the fact that Alex Telles’ arrival sparked that. This has been his best season in a red shirt and he marked it in a fantastic way in the derby with a superb goal that settled the game.
Solskjaer drew some flak for his performances in February but he has redeemed that. His tactics were spot on in the wins and United now have four consecutive clean sheets in the league. United along with Chelsea were the only sides to not concede a league goal this month.
