Lukasz Bejger all set to leave Manchester United
According to the club’s official site, Polish youngster Lukasz Bejger is set to leave Manchester United.
The young defender will join Slask Wroclaw, just three years after he joined the club from Lech Poznan. Bejgar represented United at various youth levels but failed to make a senior appearance.
The move is however yet to receive international clearance. Wroclaw have confirmed the defender will wear the No.21 shirt with them.
The 19-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the Polish side until 2025. Bejger is keen to experience first-team football and this move will help him do just that.
He is at the right age to further his development and was unlikely to feature for United’s first-team. It thus makes sense to seek game time elsewhere what can actively aid his progress.
Bejger was part of last season’s FA Youth Cup side and has played six matches for the Under-23s this season. A versatile player, he can play at both full-back and centre-back.
Wroclaw’s five-year deal represents faith in Bejger’s ability. It guarantees safety and gives the youngster the platform to hone his talents.
