The development comes after United outbid Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig for the 19-year-old midfielder. Considering they knocked us out of the Champions League, beating them to Caicedo can be seen as somewhat of a payback.
The youngster had also garnered attention from Italian giants AC Milan. However, it now seems that the player is on his way to Old Trafford.
The transfer will be a dream come true for the youngster, who went on to call United his favourite club. (h/t Daily Record)
