Juventus can offer United Paulo Dybala and Federico Bernardeschi in a deal for Paul Pogba
A report by ESPN claims that Juventus could offer attacking midfielders Paulo Dybala and Federico Bernardeschi in a deal for Manchester United star Paul Pogba.
Juventus, like many other clubs, have taken a hit financially due to the coronavirus pandemic. Hence, the club is trying to explore other options to make a deal for Pogba happen next year.
One such option is offering players in exchange for the French World Cup winner. Dybala has made just 7 starts out of a possible 18 in the Serie A and Champions League this season for Juventus. (Stats courtesy: Transfermarkt)
Bernardeschi, on the other hand, has a total of 3 starts all season. Juventus are willing to part ways with the duo as they look to re-sign Paul Pogba.
The 27-year-old French midfielder left The Old Lady in 2016 for a record £89.3million fee to join Manchester United. The news comes after Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola stated that the player will not renew his contract at the club.
The Red Devils have used their one-year extension option to make sure Pogba’s current deal expires in the summer of 2022. Juventus, however, are not in any hurry to get the deal done.
The Serie A champions would opt for the move in the summer next year, instead of the January transfer window. (h/t ESPN)
United already have a plethora of midfielders at the club. However, both Dybala and Bernardeshi are really versatile players.

Both of them are capable of playing behind the striker and out wide on the flanks. Their addition would surely add depth and quality to the team, especially considering the club’s lack of natural right-wingers.
