The Red Devils failed in their pursuit of a number of key players in the summer. We did manage to salvage the window to a degree by signing Edinson Cavani and Alex Telles on deadline day.
One of the players we missed out on was Brazilian defender Gabriel Magalhaes. The 22-year-old chose to move to Arsenal. (h/t Daily Star)
United have been open at the back this season. We have so far conceded 14 goals in our first seven Premier League games.
While Maguire appears to be improving, the subject of his partner is an open question. This could see us make a move for Carmo this January. (h/t Daily Star)
The youngster is not short of suitors and was subject to interest from Roma and Fiorentina in the summer. Despite staying put, he is attracting attention from across Europe. (h/t Daily Star)
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to sign a left sided center-back and Carmo is a viable option. However, with the likes of Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo all still at the club, we will need to sell before we buy. (h/t Daily Star)
The club are ready to listen to offers for both Rojo and Jones. It remains to be seen if we can reach an agreement for either of them. (h/t Daily Star)
