Manchester United interested in Portuguese star David Carmo

According to the Daily Star, Manchester United are among the clubs interested in SC Braga defender David Carmo.

The Red Devils failed in their pursuit of a number of key players in the summer. We did manage to salvage the window to a degree by signing Edinson Cavani and Alex Telles on deadline day.

One of the players we missed out on was Brazilian defender Gabriel Magalhaes. The 22-year-old chose to move to Arsenal. (h/t Daily Star)

United have been open at the back this season. We have so far conceded 14 goals in our first seven Premier League games.

While Maguire appears to be improving, the subject of his partner is an open question. This could see us make a move for Carmo this January. (h/t Daily Star)
