Twitter reacts as Manchester United approach Mauricio Pochettino
According to MEN, Manchester United have approached Mauricio Pochettino to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the club’s manager.
The Norwegian has been under pressure after the poor start to the season. Those at the club were privately backing Solskjaer ahead of yesterday. However, the result appears to have seen them spring into action.
In Pochettino, we could get a manager who is used to managing in the Premier League. The Argentine is also one who gets the best out of the resources at his disposal.
In terms of tactical flexibility and awareness, the Argentine would be an upgrade over Solskjaer.
Time is running out for the United boss and it remains to be seen if he can survive another negative result at Goodison Park.
We take a look at how fans reacted to the news.

Ole needs to go. No doubt. Not up to it. Welcome news though.

If Pochettino does rock up in M16 I hope he’s contractually obliged to wear his all black suits every game. They’re fantastic.

Replacing a bad manager with a good one is a step towards rebuilding

Pochettino is probably the way forward but will be extremely sad to see Ole go, hopefully Ole would take a job elsewhere within the club which would still see him involved with us fans.

The board have cost Ole his job . Ole did great by getting 3rd last season in the EPL but then he wasn’t backed in the summer transfer window but then Ole didn’t do himself any favours by not having a particular style of play and a footballing identity.
