Manchester United star Alex Telles tests positive for Covid-19
According to ESPN, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Alex Telles has tested positive for Covid-19.
The Brazilian full-back joined United on deadline day. One of the best attacking left-backs on the continent, he is set to add dynamism to our flank.
“Telles has tested positive for coronavirus so he’s been out for a few days.”
Solskjaer revealed that Telles is showing no symptoms and is set to return to action soon.
This could explain his absence from the squads that faced Chelsea and RB Leipzig.
The Brazilian’s lone appearance for us came in the trip to the Parc des Princes to face PSG. He was impressive on the night and showed off his set-piece prowess.
The player too confirmed the news and thanked fans for their support. He did this through a post on Instagram.
It is heartening to know that Telles is fine and in good spirits. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope he returns to action soon.
