It will come as a positive sign for fans who have been left disgruntled by a lack of transfer activity. Dutch star Donny van de Beek has been the only major signing so far this summer.
United are, however, yet to reach an agreement with Porto regarding the transfer fee. Telles has a release clause worth £36.7m. With him in the final year of his contract. Porto are ready to take a lower fee rather than lose him for free next summer. (h/t Mirror)
Porto are holding out for £18.3m. United, however, are trying to reduce the price even further. (h/t Mirror)
Judging by the report, Telles appears to have made his mind regarding a move to Old Trafford.
