Everton keen on Manchester United star Diogo Dalot
The Toffees are keen to bring in a new right-back this summer. Despite having Seamus Coleman and the promising Jonjoe Kenny, Carlo Ancelotti is keen to bring in another option in the position. (h/t The Athletic)
A reason for this could be Coleman’s poor injury record. Soon to turn 32, he is also not getting any younger.
Dalot was among the last players brought to the club by former boss Jose Mourinho. Despite his potential, the 21-year-old has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford
The Toffees are keen to sign the player initially on a loan. United, for their part, are ready to sell the player with the blessings of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. (h/t The Athletic)
Dalot is not the only player that Everton are keen on. They are also keeping tabs on PSV Eindhoven star Santiago Arias. (h/t The Athletic)
Solskjaer is keen to bring in a new left-back and shift Williams to the right-back spot. With us losing out on Sergio Reguilon, it remains to be seen if our decision to sell Dalot is dependent on bringing in a competitor for Luke Shaw.
