Manchester United fans react to Jadon Sancho gofundme page
An ambitious Manchester United fan has created a fundraiser in order to ensure the club has the funds to sign Jadon Sancho this summer.
The English international has been touted with a move to Old Trafford for some time now. However, talks between United and Dortmund have got nowhere, with the player still in Germany.
With less than three weeks left before the transfer window to close, fans have been growing desperate for progress.
With nothing on the horizon, this particular fan decided to take matters into his own hands, or rather pockets.
Organized by a fan called Matthew Kelley on gofundme, the effort has so far raised £359 from 46 different donors. It’s safe to say that he is some way off from achieving his target.
At the very least, he might be able to afford a poster of the player and hang it at his home.
We take a look at how fans reacted to the news.

Someone, not Manchester United. There’s a reason we haven’t signed him yet.

Dortmund must be very happy. They would NEVER sold sancho even £10 less than their asking price. Knowing some ‘loud united fans’ obsessed with him so very much. Even doing this stupid thing. Hhhhhh. So overrated. 😩

I know this fund rise will not raise £500 but the message it gives to the club and the Glazers is all I’m happy for. Yes, it’s an embarrassment for the fans but more so for the club and the owners. And I don’t care about the Banter we get. All I want is for the club to see this.
