Luke Shaw steps up recovery ahead of the 2020/21 Premier League season
According to MEN, Manchester United star, Luke Shaw has stepped up his recovery from injury ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Shaw injured his ankle in the 2-2- draw against the former side Southampton last month. He has since been absent and was a major miss for the team.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to see the defender recover for the start of the season. Although the new campaign kicks off on 12 September, United don’t get their season rolling until the 19th. (h/t Telegraph)
The Red Devils face Crystal Palace at home in the season opener. Bringing back Shaw is imperative given our struggles at left-back. Youngster Brandon Williams is inexperienced and was out of his depth against Sevilla.
Shaw is among a number of United stars holidaying on the Greek island of Mykonos. He is continuing to recover at a popular fitness location used by a number of top stars.
United made Shaw the most expensive teenager in world football when they bought him from Southampton in the summer of 2014. Five years on, he has shown signs of living up to his potential.
The English international has seen his form pick up in the last couple of seasons. In fact, Shaw was the club’s Player of the Season for 2018/19.

Ensuring that Shaw is fit as early as possible is key ahead of the new season. United are keen to do better than what we achieved last season and will need their best players to do so.
