Twitter reacts as Jadon Sancho to Manchester United drags on
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United’s negotiations for Jadon Sancho have hit a snag.
Borussia Dortmund are sticking to their £108million valuation of the player and will not accept a lower fee.
The Germans are open to the idea of being paid in instalments. However, they are adamant that £90million will have to be paid upfront, with the remaining spread across the coming years.
This is well above United’s hope of paying £50m upfront with the rest coming in performance-related add-ons, appearance clauses, and instalments.

According to a report by the Express, United are losing confidence in striking a deal. This has prompted them to identify alternatives for the right-wing position.
One of the brightest young players in world football, signing Sancho would be a statement in itself. The 20-year-old has shown he has what it takes to become a truly special player.
With the deadline of 10th August approaching, the lack of headway in negotiations has irked a number of fans. We take a look at how a few of them reacted below.
Twitter reacts as uncertainty on Jadon Sancho deal drags on
I’m hearing a lot of fans screaming “we need squad depth”.

While also screaming for players like Sancho.
Buying a Sancho for a £100m, does not give you “squad depth”. It actually gives you the opposite.
Next season really worries me#mufc
If Sancho deal does drag on, will Glazers and Woodward think that another deal or two are not possible in the time available?

Imagine the Sancho deal gets so dragged on that BVB decide not to sell and end up extending his contract #BVB #MUFC

Only 1 week into the transfer window and I am already bored of reading the same thing about Sancho. Either get it done or walk away. We must be the worst negotiators in football. #mufc

When should we all start to panic if the Jadon Sancho deal does not pull through. Would probably say this time next week. #MUFC

I wouldn’t be surprised if we long the Sancho deal out to the last possible day.

Why do I feel like Ed is going to fuck this sancho deal up ffs. Just pay Dortmond what they want. United will make that money back fairly fast through PR and revenue next season anyway.
