Reported Manchester United target Kylian Mbappe has praised fellow title contenders Paris Saint-Germain, amidst speculations regarding his future floating around in the air.

The 18-year Old Monaco sensation is being chased by the European bigwigs and is believed to be heading out of France, with Manchester United, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Chelsea all interested in the player’s services.

Mbappe has been absolutely stunning this season for Monaco and has scored 19 goals in 33 appearances. He also has 11 assists to his name and has been a revelation this term. He has become the hottest prospect in European Football and recently made his debut for the France national team.

Speaking to Telefoot, Mbappe hailed the Paris club and said that they are an attractive club. Monaco lost the Coupe de la Ligue Final to PSG on Sunday by a scoreline of 4-1 and hence his comments are sure to annoy the Monaco supporters.

Mbappe told Telefoot: “Today, PSG is a big European club. They are an attractive club. The image of the club has been affected by the defeat in Barcelona, but the players are still there. They are the same players who have won quadruple titles in a season, so we are talking about major players. They are at a turning point in their project, so we will see what they decide to do. We will keep an eye on what they are doing and remain alert.”

Former Monaco man Anthony Martial took a bold step to join Manchester United when Louis Van Gaal was in charge at Old Trafford and has been hugely successful. He is growing into a top-class player and doesn’t really look like he will fade away. Mbappe might take a similar step and follow the path of fellow Frenchman by joining a big European club and try his luck abroad.

Mbappe scored in the Champions League against Manchester City in both the legs as Monaco dumped City out of Champions League despite losing the first leg by a 5-3 margin. They made an epic comeback to win the return leg and progress to the next round of the competition.

He seems to be rising rapidly and surely will not come for a low price. He already has Champions League experience behind him now and has also represented France national team. His value is bound to increase and hence any club that wants to sign the player might have to pay an extremely big sum. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United will once again pull a talent out of Monaco.

Do you think Mbappe would flourish at Old Trafford?
