16 year old Tahith Chong has agreed to join Manchester United and set to complete his move on July 1 2016.
The player is a winger by nature and Louis Van Gaal asking for a winger is nothing new. Looks like the Dutchman’s asks will be granted albeit a bit young. The player is currently with Feyenoord and has said that he wanted to stay back at the Dutch club, but felt that the club did not make enough effort to keep him. On the other hand, he seemed to have felt welcome at Old Trafford and appreciated that. The transfer amount and other details has not been disclosed by Daily Telegraph in the report but it looks like it is certain that the player will join Old Trafford.
The new youth director Nicky Butt is currently scouting European clubs to strengthen the youth team. He has expressed concern that United are light in certain areas and hopefully Chong is the start of something revolutionary.
