Transfer Opinion: Who Out Of This Beast Strikers Should Manchester United Sign

Not a surprise or anything, but Manchester United has been linked with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alvaro Morata as well along with many other strikers as the Red Devils look forward to make an affective signing to help them come back on top next season.

It’s somehow weird that Ibrahimovic is linked with United even if it is solely based on rumours. Recent reports suggest that the report is false but one never can be too sure as the Swedish international has still not decided where his future lies.

On the other hand, Morata has had a decent time with Juventus after moving from Real Madrid in 2014.  But due to lack of chances, Morata is open to other clubs to sign him as the Spaniard still needs a breakthrough.

Stats of both the players look fine, but if Manchester United would have to choose either of them, then they might find themselves in quite a dilemma. But preference can speak for itself. Zlatan, as we all know, is a world class player since his days at Ajax. He has shown what all he is capable of throughout his career and is one of the very few players who can be labelled as a complete striker.

His presence alone is intimidating, let alone what he does on the pitch. But a move for Ibra to Old Trafford sounds hard to digest not because one would think that the Swedish footballer deserves better given the circumstances but because it just doesn’t seem practical. The Sweden international is 34 already and has a maximum of a year or two if pushed, to perform at a high-level. His pace has decreased along with his stamina. He can be bought to keep him as an alternate striker but Zlatan doesn’t settle for a secondary preference.

Alvaro Morata can be a possible transfer as the Spanish footballer has yet to make his career shine and has enough time up his sleeve to do that. Morata has been a promising player since his time at Real Madrid but has failed to score enough goals as a striker and making an impression as the first-choice striker even at Juventus. Morata is quick and creative up the pitch which is what Louis Van Gaal is looking for according to his recent interview.
