Premier League action returns as Manchester United face the title contender, Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs and United both need a win in this important fixture. Spurs are trailing behind Leicester City for the title race and the Red Devils look to make a place for them in the Champions League next season.

Let’s see how Manchester United will line up against the second place Spurs on Sunday.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Goalkeeper: David De Gea

Do we really need to mention his place in the starting XI? Unless he isn’t available, he is the best and the sure choice in every match. The Spaniard has undoubtedly been the best player in Manchester United this season.

Defenders: Matteo Darmian, Chris Smalling, Dailey Blind, Varela

A small change to the defensive line-up can be expected even though United has kept a clean sheet in their last two Premier League matches against Manchester City and Everton.
Rojo might not be used in the starting XI due to his poor performance against the Toffees last Sunday. He was substituted at half-time as he couldn’t deliver well.
Blind came on top as he had one of his best games in the EPL, showing other defenders how it is done.

Midfielders: Schneiderlin, Carrick, Juan Mata, Anthony Martial, Ander Herrera

Bastian Schweinsteiger has yet to make it back from injury and Fellaini is still out of form and obviously out of favour to start in a game. Schneiderlin and Carrick have frequently shown a good display together at Central Defensive Midfield role.
Ander Herrera is back from his groin injury and can be expected to start the game at the no.10 role, with Mata and Martial on the wings and Lingard replacing either Mata or Herrera in the second half.

Forward: Marcus Rashford

Any doubts about the 18-year-old starting against Spurs? Well, there shouldn’t be. In every game he has played, he has shown a good display, threatened opposition with his quickness and knack of being at the right place at the right time. Rashford is one of the most disciplined player right now in the Premier League and his form continues to impress everyone.
