Manchester United join Real Madrid in the race to sign Jeremie Frimpong

Bayern Leverkusen’s 23-year-old right-back Jeremie Frimpong sees himself on the transfer radar of multiple clubs eyeing a summer move for the Dutchman. The player has certainly been extremely impressive for Xabi Alonso’s side this season, playing a huge part in their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table.

Frimpong can play anywhere on the right-hand side of the pitch, and the two-cap Dutch international is gaining traction for his constant ability to find the back of the net or assist his teammates.

In 36 appearances across all competitions this season, he has 12 goals and 11 assists to boot. According to Eurosport via The Express, the Red Devils join the race to sign Frimpong, who has a £34m release clause, alongside Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
