The England international has certainly enjoyed the best form of his career this season, and has netted an impressive eight goals in 28 Premier League appearances from midfield, as well as recorded seven assists. The Frenchman, on the other hand has been benched more often than not this season for some inexplicable reasons, but with him in the side, United have won more than 70% of their games. We hope van Gaal includes him in the starting XI vs Everton, for his game reading and tackling ability will be invaluable if they want to contain Barkley.
