Marouane Fellaini started off his career as a central midfielder, but that is not where he is best suited. Instead, the Belgian is far better playing up the pitch and acting as a target man for his side. Although van Gaal used him to that effect in his first season, yet that is not where he is being employed currently. Injuries to Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin and Herrera’s off form has seen him being played in the middle of the work, but it simply has not worked out for him. The former Everton man is linked to a number of clubs who want to buy him for his physical threat, and it is better of he leaves Old Trafford for good.
