In a strange scenario, Louis Van Gaal has blocked a move for a player who was likely to move to Old Trafford. While the player had not been named, ESPN reported that the manager has declined to approve transfers so far in the January transfer window.
Probably the right move, considering Van Gall has spent an enormous amount of money, £250 million in player transfers and has had even poorer win record than David Moyes. Currently, the Dutch boss is under pressure and a few more bad results may be the end of him at the club.
A report in the Guardian said that the Dutch manager had offered to resign after the defeat to Southampton but the club has said otherwise. However a suspicious event was noticed when for the first time under the management of Van Gaal, the players did not have their warm down training at Carrington after the Southampton match.
