As per the reports of the Sun, Manchester United had prepared a world record transfer fee for Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale. However the player has rejected the offer due to the ongoing uncertainty at Old Trafford.
The publication has claimed that the offer was in the range of . It is reported that the Welshman was giving serious consideration to a summer switch to Old Trafford. However with Louis Van Gaal performing poorly and his future uncertain he does not want to face the same issue as in Real Madrid. Ex Real Madrid boss Rafa Benitez was fond of Bale but Zidane is not as warm to him as the previous manager.
Apart from that the player is finding it difficult to get along with other players with a few of them refusing to pass the ball to him. While one can understand Bale’s dilemma, the next likely manager at United may not be against such a talented winger who already has experience in the Premier League.
