Juventus optimistic Man United will let Sancho leave on loan once more

Erik ten Hag and Manchester United star Jadon Sancho had a public falling out last year which eventually resulted in the Englishman joining Borussia Dortmund on loan in the winter.

He had a productive half-season at Signal Iduna Park, though it does not look likely that BVB will be able to fund a permanent transfer for their former player.

As a result, Sancho is back at Old Trafford for pre-season though there is expectation that he will permanently depart the club with Ten Hag not expected to count on him.

Juventus have declared interest in a transfer for Sancho, however, they will be unable to afford his wages close to €8 million as a result of their stringent salary policy.

The Bianconeri are still monitoring the ex-Dortmund star and are hoping to sign him on loan. However, United are only open to a permanent transfer for their outcast this year.

Juventus, nevertheless, are optimistic that the Red Devils will eventually allow the 24-year-old to leave on a season-long loan with the Italians having the option to purchase him in 2025, as per Calcio Mercato.

United have failed to attract a wider market for Sancho and Juventus are perhaps the only club realistically vying for his signature.

And with Manchester United keen on getting rid of the English international, Juve have every reason to feel confident in dictating some share of the terms.

If indeed the Red Devils are unable to find a permanent buyer for Sancho by the end of the transfer window, they may be compelled to loan him out to offload his wage off their budget.

With no chance for the player to re-enter Erik ten Hag’s plans, Juventus is increasingly looking like Sancho’s next destination with Thiago Motta expected to have him at his disposal for next season.
