Ten Hag out, Tuchel in? United eye managerial change after FA Cup final
There is a managerial change expected at Old Trafford, with Erik ten Hag set to depart Manchester United, and former Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel has been linked with a return to the Premier League with the Red Devils.
The pressure lays heavy on Erik ten Hag’s shoulder, and it is expected that he will be relieved of his duties following today’s FA Cup encounter against Manchester City. As the former Ajax boss starts gathering his things from his cubicle at Carrington, the officials at United have already started looking for potential managers who can replace Erik ten Hag and bring the glory days back to United.
Did United job lure Tuchel away from Bayern?
Bayern Munich’s board is of the opinion that Thomas Tuchel bailed out of negotiations to continue with the German giants at the last minute last week as he may already have the Manchester United job secured, per one of acclaimed Sport Bild’s journalists, Christian Falk.
Last Thursday, it appeared that the former PSG coach was set to stay in the German capital, and a final few things needed sorting before an official announcement. However, in a surprising turn of events, by the time of the press conference on Friday morning, Thomas Tuchel was propelled against the idea of continuing onward with the Bavarians.
There is no likely conclusion to what aggregated into changing his stance; however, if the Bayern board is right, then we might see the German manager land a job at Old Trafford soon.
It is to be seen who Manchester United sign to be in charge of the helm, and especially whether they sack Erik ten Hag following today’s game.
