Manchester United star could be on the way out as his £2m mansion has been put up for rent
After a disaster of a season, there will be a ton of changes being made at Manchester United over this summer. The team finished eighth in the Premier League which is their lowest-ever finish and have no silverware to show for their efforts.
On Sunday, the Red Devils will take on Man City in the FA Cup finals and Erik ten Hag could end up losing his job regardless of the result. A managerial change is just the tip of the iceberg the Old Trafford squad will also be moving a lot of their players this summer.
The one who’s made his future the most obvious is Mason Greenwood. As reported by The Mirror, the English winger has put up his £2m mansion up for rent. Greenwood used this property while he was still playing at Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old has been on loan with Getafe for a full season now. During his time in Spain Greenwood made 35 appearances recording 10 goals and six assists. A lot of clubs have been looking to get his signature thanks to his recent performances.
Till now there was some hope that the Red Devils could retain Greenwood. It is quite clear to see that Man United would benefit greatly from having a player like Mason on the team. However, his renting his mansion out all but confirms the 22-year-old’s future.
The Red Devils will likely be able to get a sizeable sum for Greenwood. Since he is an academy graduate any transfer fee will be pure profit. Hopefully, that will allow the team to bring in some quality reinforcements this summer.
