Manchester United wants to get rid of Casemiro during the summer after his performance against Crystal Palace dominated the news
Manchester United are ready to sell Casemiro during the summer amid more scrutiny over his poor performance against Crystal Palace. The Red Devils lost 0-4 to Palace in the Premier League clash at Selhurst Park Stadium on the Monday night.
United are currently eighth in the Premier League table with two games remaining as their season crumbles badly. Their minimum expectation of reaching the top four is over as they continue to slip downwards in the league table.
United manager Erik ten Hag has failed to instil cohesiveness and consistency into the team as the injury crisis continued. The established players have failed to live up to the club’s expectations as they crashed out of multiple competitions.
Casemiro has faced the most criticism in the current senior team as he has failed to dominate the midfield. The 32-year-old joined Man United from Real Madrid for a huge sum and under massive wages with high expectations too. He started his United career well, guiding them to their first trophy in six years by winning the Carabao Cup.
However, the Brazil captain’s form notably declined during the latter stages of last season, and this trend has persisted into the current season. Casemiro lacks the physical pace and stamina to keep up with the opponents in midfield, rapidly declining with age.
The 32-year-old has failed to cover the spaces between the midfield and the defence, leaving his teammates in trouble. The Eagles’ midfielder Michael Olise exploited the weaknesses of Casemiro, putting the man of the match performance for his club.

Fichajes reported that Man United wants to get rid of Casemiro as the first step to solving their defensive problems. The Reds Devils are heading into the next season potentially without Champions League football which is unacceptable.
