Manchester United legend Andy Cole becomes latest Premier League Hall of Fame inductee
Andy Cole has been confirmed as the latest inductee into the Premier League Hall of Fame.
In a career that spanned nearly two decades, the 52-year-old featured in 414 Premier League games, scoring 187 goals and producing 73 assists.
Alongside Man United, the former England international also represented Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers, Fulham, Man City, Portsmouth, and Sunderland.
Cole was inducted into the PL Hall of Fame alongside Chelsea legend John Terry.
Cole received praises from across the footballing world, most notably fellow United legends Gary Neville and Rio Ferdinand, who commented on his Instagram post to acknowledge the feat.
More history celebrations for United amid mediocre present
A gleaming star of United’s illustrious past, Cole has rightfully earned his spot on the Premier League pantheon of greats.
His Hall of Fame induction, however, arrives at a time when the United faithful are once again being reminded of how far the mighty Red Devils have fallen since their high-flying days under Sir Alex Ferguson’s leadership.
