INEOS needs to look for an alternative for Man United coach, Erik ten Hag says journo
Sky Sports journo, Dharmesh Sheth, says that Man United need to be looking at alternatives for their coach Erik ten Hag. The Dutchman is back on thin ice following his team’s embarrassing performance against Brentford.
After every loss, we see people asking for the dismissal of Erik ten Hag. Now that things don’t seem to be going his way the people’s voices have only gotten louder. Let’s have a look at what the Sky Sports journo had to say about the situation. (h/t GIVEMESPORT)
“So they’ll have a scenario if Erik ten Hag is not the manager next season. They’ve got to start looking for alternatives now surely. So, there’s the option that Erik ten Hag will be the manager at Manchester United next season.”
Sheth went on to add that the Dutchman has another season remaining on his contract so the Red Devils will not be making any public announcements regarding his future, at least till the end of the season.
Erik ten Hag is now on his last legs at Manchester United. His team is fighting hard for a spot in the top four, but the gap has widened to 11 points thanks to the two points they lost out on against the Bees.
However, Aston Villa have a game in hand as well, so Manchester United aren’t completely out of the race yet. But, they can’t depend on themselves to play good football at the moment, so the team will be hoping that Villa slips up.
On the other hand, the team could still win the FA Cup. However, that won’t make much of a difference when you look at the bigger picture. If anything it’ll be a consolation trophy to mask a failed season.
