Manchester United skipper, Bruno Fernandes seems captivated by Ronaldinho’s magic
Manchester United skipper, Bruno Fernandes recently took to Instagram to appreciate the talent of Brazilian legend, Ronaldinho. The 29-year-old shared a story appreciating the legend’s magic on the field.
The former Barcelona superstar is widely considered to be one of the greatest players of all time. His excellent dribbling ability, eye for the right pass and deadly offensive capabilities propelled him to that level.
Ronaldinho could cut through the harshest of defences like butter and make it look like nothing. He was also an extremely intelligent playmaker and could make opportunities appear out of thin air.
Bruno Fernandes could borrow a page or two from the Brazilian legend’s book. He can be sort of predictable and often doesn’t attack with intent. There have been plenty of instances this season where the United skipper has killed opportunities by picking the wrong pass.
If Fernandes could improve upon his pass selection and do something about his ability to dribble, the Old Trafford crowd would love him a lot more. However, the biggest critique that people have of the Portuguese midfielder is his attitude.
He’s supposed to be leading his team but can often be seen moaning and complaining to the officials about calls. His attitude needs to improve, something else that he could learn from Ronaldinho who is also remembered for his ever-present smile.
