Real Madrid could lose 34-year-old striker to Manchester United
As reported by Spanish Outlet Besoccer, Manchester United are working on a shock move for 34-year-old Real Madrid forward, Joselu. The Spanish national has recorded 13 goals and three assists in 38 appearances this season.
For a very long time, the Red Devils have been trying to boast their attacking line. The club was linked to several forwards during the January transfer window, but ultimately stayed silent and made no moves.
Moreover, the team has recently been linked to quality strikers like Victor Osimhen. Now, Joselu is the latest to be added to a long list of targets for United. However, he seems to be a bench player which makes the fans happy.
Rasmus Hojlund has started to develop very nicely and a lot of people are backing him. Fans see a lot of potential in the abilities of the young Dane. He has recorded 13 goals and two assists in 31 appearances this season.
Now, the arrival of Joselu is beneficial because it will help with Hojlund’s development. It will also take a lot of load off the Dane’s shoulders who has been doing a ton of heavy lifting for the Red Devils.
Moreover, Joselu has experience playing with some of the biggest clubs in Europe which shows his quality. The Spanish attacker would prove to be an excellent backup for Rasmus Hojlund.
