Manchester United have scouted a Premier League winger, as talks of Marcus Rashford to Paris Saint-Germain start gaining traction.
Manchester United could soon lose out on their superstar, Marcus Rashford. The Mirror reports that the Red Devils are targeting Wolves winger, Pedro Neto as they look to fill the void in their attacking line.
24-year-old Neto is expected to be a replacement for United’s blockbuster failure Antony. The Brazilian has recently started to improve but doesn’t have a lot of time to change people’s opinion of him.
On the other hand, Paris Saint-Germain have started to plan an offensive for Marcus Rashford. So, United could be short on attacking options next season and this could make Neto Neto a priority during the summer.
The Portuguese winger has been very impressive for Wolves this season. In 23 appearances across all competitions, he has recorded three goals and 11 assists for the team. The Red Devils are in desperate need of a playmaker of Neto’s level.
However, Arsenal and Liverpool are also interested in the 24-year-old. This could complicate things for United and the team will probably try to avoid being pulled into a bidding war with either side.
The Red Devils have Bruno Fernandes, one of Portugal’s more important players. He and Neto are teammates and the United skipper could try and convince the 24-year-old to move to Old Trafford.
