Kobbie Mainoo was elated to get his first England call-up after impressing with Manchester United.

Kobbie Mainoo has been a big positive after a disastrous season for Erik ten Hag and Manchester United. He kept the team’s UCL hopes alive by scoring a last-minute winner against Wolves and has been solid in United’s middle line.

The 18-year-old star has made 20 appearances this season, recording one goal and one assist for the Red Devils. While his stats may not look too crazy, Mainoo has been an absolute star in midfield.

His dribbling ability, eye for the right pass and defensive capabilities make him one of the most exciting prospects in England. Well, the England team has noticed Mainoo’s rise to stardom and have called him up despite his young age.

Mainoo was elated to be called up to the team. He made his joy known by leaving a comment under the England national team’s Instagram post. The 18-year-old mentioned that it is an honour for him to be called up to the team.

Manchester United have already been struggling with injuries so the team will be hoping that Mainoo doesn’t get affected on his international trip. However, the 18-year-old has to be elated to represent his country at such a young age.
