Fabrizio Romano delivers pleasing Marcus Rashford update to Manchester United fans

Manchester United fans will be pleased to hear what Fabrizio Romano had to say about the Marcus Rashford situation. While speaking on his YouTube channel the journo confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain are nowhere close to signing Rashford.

He said that he is not aware of anything going on at that end, both teams have not made contact. PSG wanted the Manchester-born star two years ago, but they’re not actively going after him anymore. On the other hand, Erik ten Hag also confirmed that the 26-year-old will be a part of the team’s future.

Here’s what he had to say about the situation.

“No bid from Paris Saint-Germain, the situation remains quiet around Marcus Rashford, full focus on Manchester United”

There have been a lot of questions regarding the English winger’s future this season. His performance levels have dropped drastically. Rashford has only scored seven goals this season compared to the 30 he put up last year.

This inconsistency and his tendency to party and then call in sick has made people wonder whether Manchester United would be open to selling Marcus Rashford. But as confirmed by Romano the team still considers him to be a crucial part of their project.

The 26-year-old has been having a quiet season so far. Because of his inconsistency and wastefulness on offence, his team has suffered. Hopefully, he can figure it out before United’s season falls apart.
