Manchester United look prepared for Liverpool as Erik ten Hag says four injured stars could return for the game

Manchester United vs Liverpool is gearing up to be an exciting matchup. A lot of fans were worried that Erik ten Hag would have to field a depleted squad. However, Fabrizio Romano has averted the fans’ fears.

The famed journo has confirmed that the Dutchman namedropped four of his injured stars who could make a return this Sunday. Let’s have a look at what Ten Hag actually said.

“Harry Maguire, Rasmus Højlund and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have chances to be back, they are training with the group”.

“Mason Mount trained all week with us, he had some full sessions with us, so it’s looking good”.

With Rasmus Hojlund leading the attacking line the team will surely look more dangerous on the offensive end. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire will also be important to keep out the Reds’ forwards.

Last but not least, it seems like Mason Mount will finally get to feature for United. The 25-year-old has missed most of the season and the Red Devils have suffered because of it. However, he is now close to a return and will add a lot of unpredictability to Ten Hag’s middle line.

But, all of these players are returning after big injury breaks. So, it would be unfair to expect them to start.

While Erik ten Hag might not get to start his best team, he’ll have enough tools on the board to put up a positive result.
