Erik ten Hag seems to be losing support as Pundit says he expects Manchester United to sack him this year.

Erik ten Hag might be closer to being sacked from Manchester United than people expect him to be. The Dutchman has utterly failed to achieve anything this season and could soon lose out on whatever is left.

Some talk has suggested that Sir Jim Ratcliffe will give him more time at the club. However, some also say that the INEOS team has made up their mind. New managers have also been linked to the club these past few weeks.

Now former Ajax striker, Wim Kieft has given his thoughts on the situation. Unlike the masses the Dutch legend expects the axe to fall way before the end of the season. Here’s what he had to say while speaking to The Mirror.

Erik ten Hag needs to end the season in the top four if he hopes to save his job.

“At Manchester United, the football is still not to be seen – and therefore I expect Ten Hag to be in his last year.”

The Dutch legend also compared the team to their bitter rivals Manchester City. He mentioned that Erik ten Hag has had to work in a completely different environment than Pep Guardiola with the Blues.

He says that Manchester United’s neighbours have a true football culture and the proper atmosphere. The Red Devils on the other hand have been run into the mud by the Glazers.

But change is on the way since Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS have already begun to make major changes at the club.
