Erik ten Hag has warned his better rivals Man City about Manchester United’s ‘unstoppable’ attacker

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has sent word of warning to their local rivals Mancjester City ahead of the Manchester derby tonight. People expect Guardiola and his men to run over the Red Devils tonight.

However, history has shown us that United are at their best when everyone else is counting them out. This was most apparent in their 3-2 win against Aston Villa back in December. Moreover, that game also kicked off their comeback efforts which have brought the team in sight of the Premier League top four.

The Dutchman has an ace up his sleeve and expects Manchester United star, Marcus Rashford to show out tonight. Let’s have a look at what Erik ten Hag had to say to Sky Sports when talking about the Manchester-born star. (h/t Manchester Evening News)

“Against the best defenders in the world he is able to score and it’s just about him, if he has his attitude right on Sunday, he is unstoppable that is just about him and of course, we have to serve him.”

As Erik ten Hag said the Manchester United team will have to serve Marcus Rashford to get him going. This is especially true for the middle line who need to put their forwards in good positions to score.

However, Rashford will also have to take better care of the ball, we have often seen him dribble into defenders and give possession away. Cheap plays like that won’t fly against Manchester City.

The team will have a lot riding on 26-year-old Marcus Rashford, especially since their star striker, Rasmus Hojlund is out due to injury.
