People have already started to turn on Erik ten Hag following Manchester United’s defeat against Fulham

Manchester United were left short-handed and bitter following their loss against Fulham. Erik ten Hag and his men went into the game on a four-game winning streak. But, they came out the other end with a 2-1 loss in hand along with their UCL contention in jeopardy.

Following their embarrassing loss people have already started to voice their concerns surrounding the team’s coach. A lot of people want the Dutchman to be relieved of his duties at Old Trafford.

Gabby Agbonlahor seems to be the most bitter amongst the anti-Erik bunch. He voiced his concerns regarding the manager and even went on to call him delusional for some of the comments he made during his post-game interview. Let’s have a look at what he had to say (h/t talkSPORT)

“Have you ever heard someone more delusional? When a manager is delusional like Ten Hag is sounding now, it is time to move him on.”

“Come out and be honest, your team were dreadful. Every player through the whole 90 minutes.”

Agbonlahor called Ten Hag delusional and said that his team did not show any character in grabbing the equaliser. The former England striker even wanted Sir Jim Ratcliffe to axe the Dutchman.

However, the club would not be as great as it is, if owners took the advice of everyone who speaks into a mic and calls themselves a pundit. Fulham was surely an embarrassing loss for United, but the critics were all silent when the team was on a four-game winning streak earlier this month.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe will likely give Erik ten Hag more time at the club.

Erik ten Hag’s situation at Old Trafford cannot be defined by his situation. The Dutchman has had an under-equipped squad filled with underperforming players this season. INEOS will likely observe the situation for a bit longer before the axe falls on Ten Hag’s head.

All of this is to say that Erik ten Hag’s end is soon approaching an end. While he is not in any imminent danger of being sacked, the Dutchman needs to figure it out before the season ends. If not, his time at Old Trafford will surely be over soon.
