Andres Pereira had some words for Manchester United following their loss to Fulham
Former Manchester United midfielder, Andreas Pereira was very involved in Fulham’s attack as his new team took his former one apart. The Brazilian did not let this opportunity go to waste and quickly dropped a post on Instagram to send a message to the Red Devils.
However, like most would expect him to, Pereira did not make any condescending comments. The 28-year-old showed class and addressed the fans by saying that it is always great to play at Old Trafford. He also seemed to be thrilled about the reception that he received.
Man United may have let the player go but it seems like he still has a lot of respect for the club. Pereira looked sharp against Ten Hag’s team as he took two shots on target and created five chances during the game.
Pereira recorded four goals and five assists for United through 75 games. His stats may have left a lot to be desired. But, the 28-year-old was far better than Bruno Fernandes when Manchester United and Fulham went head-to-head.
The Red Devils’ middle line has regressed over the years. It seems like letting go of quality players like Pereira has been a big part of that. Moreover, there has also been a lot of talk suggesting that Christian Eriksen will leave in the summer.
This would be another mistake by the Red Devils who are already struggling to get a decent performance out of their midfielders. While the defence and the offence are prominently poor. It is the Old Trafford middle line that has been run into the ground.
