Manchester United loanee, Jadon Sancho has been enjoying life with Borussia Dortmund. The 23-year-old was axed from the first team back in September following a public falling out with manager Erik ten Hag.

After four months on the sidelines, he was shipped to his former club in Germany. However, his future with the Red Devils and Dortmund are both hanging in the balance.

When the English winger returns during the summer his future at the club will be reevaluated. However, a lot of fans have been hoping that he continues to play with Borussia Dortmund. Now, a new report from German publication BILD (h/t Manchester Evening News) has shed light on his future.

According to BILD, even Sancho himself doesn’t think that he will be spending a lot of time with Dortmund. In fact, the 23-year-old hasn’t even bought a place yet and has been living in a hotel in Germany ever since his loan deal started.

Manchester United paid a sum of £73m to sign Sancho, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that the Red Devils want to break even. Unfortunately for the fans, his former club just doesn’t have the financial resources needed to bring him back.

If Jadon Sancho can find his former self upon his return to Manchester United, fans will embrace him with open arms.

Moreover, his future at United depends on Erik ten Hag. If the Dutchman is able to salvage his season and doesn’t get sacked then the Old Trafford squad might just try and offload Sancho for a fair price.

If Erik ten Hag does get sacked, the fans can expect Sancho to be reintegrated into the first team. It seems like the 23-year-old’s future is in the hands of his “enemy” at the club.
