Manchester United have five players missing and one doubtful for Luton Town clash
Erik ten Hag will once again be dealing with a depleted squad as Manchester United are expected to miss five players for their clash against Luton Town. Moreover, another player has been listed as doubtful.
The Dutchman via The Standard, has revealed that even though Luke Shaw was only taken off as a precaution during the game against Aston Villa, he is still doubtful for the Luton Town game. But, Ten Hag is staying positive.
On the list of absentees are Tyrell Malacia, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Mason Mount, Anthony Martial, and Lisandro Martinez. While the Argentine has just recently picked up an injury, all of the others have been missing for quite some time.
So even though it looks bad at the moment, Manchester United should still be able to field a pretty solid squad against Luton Town. Moreover, fans will be happy to know that Victor Lindelof might get some real minutes.
The one to keep an eye on during this Premier League matchup is Rasmus Hojlund. If the Dane scores against Luton he will become the youngest to score in six consecutive Premier League games.
Also, a big performance is due from Marcus Rashford. Fans are hoping that the Manchester-born star will be able to play his way back to into form.
