Manchester United aren’t stopping at Dan Ashworth as they now have their eyes set on Southampton chief
As reported by The Guardian, Manchester United have now turned their eyes towards Southampton chief, Jason Wilcox. It seems like INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe are doing all they can to kick off a new era at Old Trafford.
Wilcox currently works as the Director of Football for Southampton. What makes him such a sought-after signing is mainly due to his history with Omar Berrada. Man United’s new CEO and the Southampton chief spent a lot of time working together at Manchester City.
A lot of people also rate Wilcox highly due to how much he contributed to the development and emergence of Cole Palmer and Phil Foden.
Before Jason Wilcox, Dan Ashworth is expected to arrive at the club. Manchester United have been in hot pursuit of the Newcastle United chief and it is being reported that both parties are looking forward to closing the deal.
However, the Red Devils will surely have to pay a pretty penny to their Premier League rivals since Ashworth is still under contract.
Manchester United are finally starting to get some structure. Now that the club is finally getting some structure, Erik ten Hag can finally focus on his real job, coaching football.
