Erik ten Hag has shed light on his role in appointing Manchester United’s new sporting director

Erik ten Hag has been very happy about the recent developments at Manchester United. The new ownership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS has started to steer the club in the right direction.

Since their arrival, the club has already signed Omar Berrada from under the noses of their bitter local rivals, Manchester City. The team is also looking into the possibility of signing Jason Wilcox.

Moreover, the team is also reportedly close to signing Dan Ashworth over from Premier League rivals, Newcastle United. Ashworth is expected to take up the position of sporting director at Old Trafford.

“So, I don’t know anything about changes, and I talk with the new or foreseen sporting organisation but it’s not up to me.

The Dutchman added that his main priority right now is the team, and that they are already making plans for the business that they will be doing during the summer.
