Manchester United are not favourites in the eyes of Chris Sutton whose predicted result against Aston Villa is shocking.

Manchester United have been in fine form recently, which has led many people to think of them as favourites for the upcoming clash against Aston Villa. However, BBC pundit Chris Sutton doesn’t seem to hold that view.

His prediction for the game states that the Villans will run away with a 2-1 victory. He says that this game is tough to predict, but the loss of Lisandro Martinez tells you all you need to know about the result.

Sutton doesn’t believe that Erik ten Hag and his lads will be able to stop the Villa offence at home without their Argentina star. This statement might even be repeated a few times in the future.

However, what’s done is done, Sutton has made his prediction and Ten Hag and his men must do all they can to prove him wrong. The Red Devils have all the momentum and quality that they need for success.

Not a lot of people can stand against the team when they’re playing like they have been recently. The Dutchman will be expecting a big performance from Rasmus Hojlund who has been on fire recently.

Additionally, someone will also have to lead the team defensively and Raphael Varane looks like the man for the job. His quality as a defender cannot be understated and if the Frenchman is having a good game, the Old Trafford squad can three more points to the board.
